Elastin Powder 9007-58-3 from Ligamentum Nuchae 9007-58-3 is an extracellular matrix protein that provides elasticity and elasticity to tissues such as arteries, lungs, tendons, skin and ligaments.Elastic fibers have two components, one of which is encoded by the ELN gene.This protein has a high proportion of hydrophobic amino acids, such as glycine and proline, forming a mobile hydrophobic domain.ELN is located on chromosome 7 of the human genome.Selective splicing of the ELN gene results in the formation of at least 11 proelastin isoforms in humans.

Elastin is the main component of elastic fiber, mainly exists in the connective tissue, especially tendon and artery elastic tissue is a major hard protein.Collagen and elastin are proteins that is found in the dermis, the layer of skin just is below the epidermis (that is the top layer of skin visible to the eye).

Elastin Powder 9007-58-3 contains up to 95% of hydrophobic amino acids, many of which are glycine, proline and leucine.Elastatin was initially synthesized as a water-soluble monomer with a molecular weight of 70000, and was called proelastatin . During modification, part of proline was hydroxylated to hydroxyproline.After the protelastatin is secreted from the cell, part of lysine is oxidized to aldehyde group by oxidase, and condensed with the ε-amino group of other lysine to pyridine derivative which is called chain element.
