High Activity Laccase 

Laccase is one of the main components of natural paint, with a content of about 10%, which exists in nitrogenous substances of natural paint, commonly known as lacquer protein and oxidase. It is an indispensable natural organic catalyst for natural paint drying at room temperature. Insoluble in water, insoluble in general organic solvents, but soluble in urushiol.

Laccase, in the same family as ascorbate oxidase in plants and the mammalian plasma ceruloplasmin, catalyzes the oxidation of a variety of organic and inorganic substrates, accompanied by the reduction of molecular oxygen to water. Laccase is widely distributed in fungi, higher plants, a few bacteria and insects, especially in white rot fungi.
